Meet our Teachers

  • Al Tavera

    Al Tavera started his yoga journey in 1995. He did his teacher training in 2004 with YogaWorks founders, Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, later studying with Annie Carpenter. He has also studied in Pune, India with BKS Iyengar.

    Al teaches a mid-paced flow class with focus on alignment and breath. His classes are good for all levels.

  • Jeff Wells

    Consistently rated as one of the top spinning instructors in Los Angeles, Jeff Wells also teaches strength training and yoga. This multi-disciplinary training enables Jeff to tune into his students’ bodies and needs. Calm and centered personally, Jeff’s classes are jam-packed with humor, good music, and positive vibes.

  • Susan Cambigue-Tracey

    A seasoned Yoga practitioner, Susan Cambigue-Tracey (RYT) is certificated in the national Yoga Works Hatha style, as well as Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga. Susan’s most influential yoga mentors include Sarah Mata, Annie Carpenter, Birgitte Kristen, Al Tavera and Carmen Fitzgibbon.

  • Larry Heliker

    I hold a junior intermediate 1 certification from the National Iyengar Yoga Association. First certified in 1994, I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I first began my yoga practice from a book in 1970, when there were only a few Yogis teaching in their living rooms. I intend to be teaching until they nail the lid on the box.

  • Ish Moran

    Ish Moran teaches a flow yoga class set to world beat music with an emphasis on alignment. As a result of sports injuries, Ish began practicing Iyengar yoga to strengthen muscles and focus mentally. After dedicating his first six years of study with Iyengar instructor Judy Narvid, Ish happened on Steve Ross’s class. Ish practiced for another six years with Steve Ross before becoming certified through a Teacher Training program with renowned yoga teacher, Rod Stryker.

  • Jenny Triggs

    Rima believes in moving and breathing the body as a way to uncover our own unique nature, to feel connected and grounded, and to step into our radiance and grace through unconditional love and acceptance. She has been practicing for over 20 years, and has trained and is certified in both the Kundalini and the Hatha lineages under the guidance of yoga masters including Gurmukth, Guru Singh and Saul David Raye. She has a passion for women’s work, and is also a birth doula and lactation counselor. When she is not on her yoga mat, she can be found running after her 4 little boys.
