Yin Yoga with Meditation with Jeff Wells

Inspired by gentleness, precision, and “letting go,” a Yin practice is designed to bypass the muscular tissue and target the connective tissues—ligaments, tendons and fascia—to improve flexibility and increase circulation in the joints.

Over time, practicing Yin yoga may also allow chi to flow through the subtle channels, while also promoting a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind.

Perfect for athletes, office workers, or anyone who needs to open the body, increase flexibility and circulation, while stilling the mind from distraction. Yin poses may be held for 3-5 minutes each, allowing the body time to relax and sink deeper and deeper into each pose.
